You can access it from Kochi (Kerala) which required permit to visit for all tourist including Indians & foreigners. Even after permit Indian are permitted to visit all Island but foreigners are permitted to just visit Agatti, Bangaram and Kadmat Island.

You can reach Lakshadweep via water & Air Only. There are 7 passenger ships in total, which operates between Lakshadweep and Cochin. It has an Airport in Agatti which is connected to Kochi Airport only. It’s a group of the island so if you want to travel from one island to another you can use the ferry system or hire a helicopter as per your budget.
